BBDC together with the other 10 Municipalities from North Eastman Region is working on bringing to our region an Eastman Vocational Training Centre (EVTC) to meet a big demand on trade skills workers.
Beausejour Brokenhead Tourism Committee – Implementation Stage
BBDC has spearheaded to form a Beausejour Brokenhead Tourism Committee to develop a Tourism Strategy, as well as 5 years, plan to promote our local tourism attractions.
BBDC has received a grant for $60,000 to implement the Beausejour Brokenhead Tourism Strategy.
Beausejour Brokenhead Immigration Strategy – Implementation Stage
BBDC is a part of the ERIP (Eastman Regional Immigration Partnership) Committee that working together to bring more newcomers to the Eastman Region.
BBDC had formed a BBDC's Immigration Subcommittee to help newcomers settle down successfully. Furthermore, the committee is working together to bring more business immigration to the region.
Day Care Project
BBDC is working on building two daycares in BB Region. The conducted Day Care Needs Assessment 2018 had shown a critical need for over 300 daycare spots.
